This warm, tactile, wooden crochet needle has a subtle colour striation running through it. The wood is extremely smooth, so that the wool glides along it without resistance. Small grooves towards the end of the needle catch any stitches that are trying to slip off the end.
Made in India. We agonised over stocking these needles, as we only intend to sell products that are ethically made under good working conditions. However, the manufacturer has a free creche and medical center onsite for workers, and runs a school with free education for over 900 children as a community initiative. And we love the needles....
