This plate is a gorgeous contrast to our glazed range. It is delicate, matt and powdery to the touch. Its round, but only just, with an irregular hand-thrown edge. The colour is strong and hard to define, a bit blue, a bit grey, a bit teal, depends on the light. The outside of the bowl has the same powdery texture and is uncoloured. The tableware of Jars Céramistes graces the tables of Michelin-starred restaurants. Not content with 170 years of production expertise, the factory pushes the boundaries of shapes and textures, but also continually reduces its ecological footprint, recycling materials, heat and colours.

This is a really interesting, unusual plate, very much out of the ordinary.
