Divinely soft and warm, wrapping a Cushendale brushed mohair throw around yourself is like being cuddled in cotton wool, a tactile delight. A feast for the eyes too, with beautiful hues that somehow manage to be vivid and subtle at the same time, in green, pink, and poppy.
Six generations of the Cushen family have worked the mill in Kilkenny for nearly 250 years, carding, spinning, dyeing, and weaving their wool in-house, on the same machines that have been in use since Victorian times.
70% mohair, 30% lambswool, hank dyed in the Cushendale mill in Co. Kilkenny. The wool is washed in pure unchlorinated river water, which gives the mohair its unique fullness.
The large throw is 135 cm by 180 cm.
The small throw is 90 cm by 135 cm, a perfect size for a lap blanket in the car or on the sofa.
