Internationally-renowned designer label Electronic Sheep was established in 1998 by NCAD alumni Brenda Aherne and Helen Delany. The label’s unique, signature style comprises illustrative and typographic jacquards based on narrative storylines drawing on the designers’ personal lives and professional practices.
Nádúr (meaning nature in Gaelic) is part of the Electronic Sheep Comic Folk Collection.This new collection is a series of illustrated scarves featuring the Electronic Sheep characters, set in Dublin city centre. Influenced by folk art and music the collection combines architecture, literature, nature, colour and collage. The comic characters features are in parts make believe, nonfiction and historical.
